Kevin Brolin
Real Estate/Probate Paralegal Contractor

Kevin has a background in construction, real estate and income property ownership. He has owned rental real estate for over 17 years in both Windham and Norwich, Connecticut. He has a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from Northeastern University, and graduated Cum Laude. He also has an Associates Degree in Science/Paralegal Studies from the University of Hartford and graduated with a 3.93/4.0 average.
Among Kevin’s professional accomplishments is working in the Construction Industry as a Remodeling Contractor and eventually rising to the rank of Director of Business Operations/Legal Assistant for a Government Construction Contractor. During this time he gained Civil and Governmental Litigation experience as his responsibilities included supporting company attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting civil litigation complaints, motions and interrogatories, scheduling and indexing depositions, preparing exhibits, scheduling and electronically filing paperwork. Additionally, he recovered nearly $2,500,000.00 of government construction claims on approximately $15,000,000.00 of contracts over a five-year period by preparing claims, creating exhibits, negotiating with Contracting Officials and testifying at hearings.
Kevin has extensive experience in the real estate Title Abstract and Report Generation Field having completed over 2,600 Title Reports since 2020 for Connecticut Attorney Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company and others. Kevin has prepared closing documents and recorded relevant documents on the land records. During these experiences he gained Civil and Governmental Litigation Experience including legal research, drafting complaints and motions, indexing discovery and depositions and testifying. Additionally, he learned how to prepare closing documents, title research and filing land records for residential and commercial properties.

Kevin has also earned a Certificate of Completion for the “Connecticut Training for Professional Conservators” course.

Kevin has familiarity with CATIC proprietary Title Report and Closing Document software, Westlaw, Lexis-Nexus, Casemaker, Bill 4 Time, Clio, Sketch Up Pro, Relativity e-discovery software and Federal Acquisition Regulations. He also has excellent time management and leadership skills acquired as a NATO Special Weapons Field Artillery Officer requiring a Top-Secret clearance.
